Haj Agha Abedi was explaining and the more he went on the more complicated the situation got. On one hand, it was hard to believe, on the other hand, we saw it for ourselves and there was no deny .of it Pardon me for not explaining the story. I wanted you to feel a bit of my awe out of curiosity. Long story short, as soon as the body of one of the martyrs arrived at the Ascension, Haj Agha Abedi turned to everyone and said, “Please pay attention! This drop of tear on martyr’s face shall not be wiped”. He explained that the tear had been there since the death of the martyr and it wasn’t removed until then after going such a long journey to here. The more he explained, the harder the story got to understand. We all inclined to see the tear clearer and we were excited as if the most expensive gem in the world was at your disposal. It was hard to believe; and harder not to believe. During the martyrs’ family visit, we were waiting for their reaction. Suddenly, martyr’s mother entered and sat by the casket while she was mourning for her son. At first, she caressed him with her look head to toe. She did the same with her hand, then. She opened the edge of her Chador and wiped the tear gently. She got silent. It seemed done its mission. My mind the tear has had been hooked. The following day, I entered the funeral of the martyr. I greeted everyone and sat beside the mother of the martyr. I think she knew what I was looking for because two minutes later she inclined her head and told me, “You know sister, he popped into my dream last night. I asked him the reason behind his tear which had remained on his face all that time. He told me that was the tear of joy in the moment he was martyred, and he wanted us to see it to witness that joy. He explained God preserved that drop of tear until we see it so that we understand that it was his choice. The tear came all .that way so that we don’t weep Come to think of it now, I see how well he soothed his mother. She was so sad in the ascension, and at the funeral she was .so calm
