It Wasn’t a Dream
A Jam of Jar - It Wasn’t a Dream
Sometimes, you ask someone a question and their reply are so surprising you think if you hadn’t asked it, there would definitely be something missing in your life. Once I asked a martyr’s son a question. “Have you seen your father [in your dream]?”, I asked. His reply far exceeded my expectation. “Mr. Mohammadi, whenever you want something that looks so unreachable, go visit the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (peace be upon him) and administer an oath to his son, Imam Javad (peace be upon him)”, he replied. “Is this an answer?”, I said sarcastically. “Yes. I was missing my dad so much for a while. I wanted to see him even once. I was pretty depressed one day, went to the Holy Shrine. I told Imam Reza that it is right that my father is a martyr, but Imam Reza is so merciful and kind that it’s not impossible that my wish comes true and I see him in person once again. It happened. The next day, I went to buy some bread. Suddenly, I saw my father. He was in the same outfit he was wearing in his last picture. I got rushed. “Dad, is that you?”, I asked. He smiled. “Lower your voice son. Yes, it’s me. Yesterday, you swore Imam Reza to his son; he is so .generous”, he replied He was talking about his conversation with his dad and I was astonished. “It wasn’t a dream, I wasn’t dreaming. I saw him another time. I saw my dad on my wedding day. “You came, dad?”, I said. “Did you ask Imam Reza again?”, he replied. He was right. I had visited the .Holy Shrine again”, he said
